During the past days, the Weber Arctic Team have been training in the British-Columbia mountains, with the help of our Fischer Ski equipment.

The Weber Arctic Team is a family of polar explorers, Richard, Josée, Nansen and Tessum, who have lead some of the first polar expeditions to reach the North Pole. As they are preparing for the heli-ski season next April in Baffin Island, they have been using our products for their training sessions.  "We’ve been training in the mountains in BC extensively, and they have been great tools to get ready, as well as to pack in the quiver for Baffin!

In fact, during their training, Richard and Tessum had the opportunity to try the Ranger 115 FR and Hannibal skis, as well as the Ranger Free 130 boots.

"They are spectacular" commented Tessum. "Fantastically light and super responsive".

Concerning the Ranger Free boots, he also added : "They have been an absolute game-changer. The stiffness, responsiveness and sheer control that one feels means that you can ski bigger lines with confidence under foot and rely even more on your equipment when in variable situations!".
